Nicholas Babaya is a contributor on the Rational Standard. He is a student at Rhodes University where he is currently studying a BA in Politics and German with electives in Chinese and Sound Technology. He was introduced to libertarian theory after following South African Libertarian. He was looking for a counter-narrative to many left-wing assertions dominating the media and South Africa. After reading Bastiat’s The Law, he was hooked.
He has a profound interest in a multitude of topics including politics, philosophy, theology, language and science. He is a musician and music enthusiast and plays drums and bass guitar.
When he’s not writing for Rational Standard, Nicholas likes to talk about current events and attend local heavy metal gigs.
